Houseplant Homeschool - Ordering and Return Policy
Placing your order:
Each plant is listed individually so you can be sure you will receive the exact plant that you have chosen and paid for.
Shipping:
Once you have placed your order and received confirmation it is usually dispatched within two to three working days. You will receive an Email confirming the delivery date. We do not ship on Thursday or Friday in order to avoid the possibility of your precious plant being stuck in transit over the weekend.
Plant care upon arrival:
When your plant arrives please take care when unpacking it, no great big knives for opening the box! We take great pride in packaging our plants and hope that you are delighted with your purchase. Plants are sensitive and shipping is a stressful period for them. Petiole and leaf damage may occur and leaves may also go yellow during this time.
Your plant will have been watered a few days prior to shipping and should not require any water for a few days after arrival. If it is very hot or the substrate dry we suggest to pop the pot on a saucer of water for a few minutes to allow it to absorb some water from the bottom. The pot and substrate your plant arrives in will be sufficient for at least the next two months and we strongly recommend that you do not re-pot your plant until such time as you can see the roots are visibly filling the pot (our pots are all clear).
In general your plant will require very little water for the first two to three weeks after it arrives, and it is important that it is placed into a humid area to ease its transition to your home environment: a humidity of 60% is recommended.

Refunds:
Claims for refunds must be submitted to us within 24 hours of receipt of your order via email to mark@houseplant-homeschool.co.uk and we will do our best to respond within 48 hours with an appropriate solution. Providing you have contacted us within 24 hours of receiving your plants with any concerns, we will guarantee your plant for 7 days, starting from the day you received your plant (providing the plant(s) has not been removed from the original pot and substrate, and no other cutting or disturbance has occurred within 7 days of arrival).
Your claim must contain clear pictures of all the plants/products you are claiming for, as well as the box and all box labels. Pictures should include a close up of the plant and the area you are not happy with.
Please note damage to leaves and petioles can occur during transit and are out of our control. Damage of this type is not covered by our guarantee.
